Town?

Town?

No friendly neighbors
No playing children
Only a family who sits in their house with their unused hearts
No words are exchanged
No eyes meet
Only angry scowls of love forgotten folk
No teenage romances
No courage to make up for the past
Only the tears of people who yearn for care
A step down the street is just another reminder for the absence of comfort
But up the dark roads of this hell riddled town
Lives a little girl who spoke quietly
The moment your eyes meet, and you’ll hear an orchestra of everything you could ever feel
Thousands of cries
Thousands of laughs
This girl seldom smiles but provides an everlasting and unspoken love for the people of this town
But in the end there are still
No friendly chats
No relaxing rests
Only the eyes of a girl that tell a thousand stories.
